Some modes of transportations are only present in cities with big geographical obstacles like rivers, valleys, hills and cliffs: funiculars, moving bridges, cable cars, elevators. Routing engines tend to ignore or misunderstand these. I will discuss possible routing algorithms, and how we can adapt existing methods to use them.
